How to make a search engine using ACF?

Hey i have a select custom field i created using ACF it has a list of article writers names and i displayed the name of the selected writer in single-post.php what i want to do is create a simple search engine for the writers were the user would chose or type a writer name and get all post signed with his name.

NOTE: am not talking about the author i jst want to display posts that has this writer name selected by the ACF
