how to list plugins by active/disabled status

    Up until a few weeks ago when my site partner did some cleanup, the list of plugins in the Dashboard displayed all active plugins at the top, and the few deactivated plugs below. I’m sure this was set by a plugin that has been deleted, I can’t figure out which one.

    I wondering if this description will trigger someone’s memory and post a guess at plugins that might do this. Please note that I don’t want to hide or delete any plugins, just simply separate them.

    The fallback if no one can suggest anything is to revert to an earlier backup, identify the plugin, then restore and install the lost plug.

    I’m not sure the plugin, but I do have a non-plugin solution that should help you separate active and inactive (deactivated) plugins. Simply go to the plugin page and find the menu above the list of plugins that goes something like all, active, inactive, etc. and select the plugins you would like to see. Inactive will show you all deactivated plugins, active will show you everything that is active.
