The code for OpenWeatherMap 5.6.17 is here:

Is there a way I can download this version? 5.7.1 is hopelessly broken and I need to get my site back to functional.

Ignore this. I went to a backup image and ZIPped up the /owm-weather … tree and then, I restored that to the current system /owm-weather … tree.
