How do I hide sitemap(s) from being accessible to humans?

Thanks for reaching out.

We don’t have a feature to hide your XML sitemap from humans that stumble on it. Is your sitemap indexed in search engines? This isn’t supposed to be. Please provide some more clarity on the issue you are experiencing.

Thanks for your reply.

My sitemap isn’t indexed. But being accessible by anyone means a rival can easily go through the sitemap to find the structure of my site and discover content gap areas they can copy. Hiding it from humans makes that process a bit hard.
