    Hi

I don’t want to renew but only to hide the Admin Notice

“Heads up! Your WPForms license has expired.
An active license is needed to create new forms and edit existing forms. It also provides access to new features & addons, plugin updates (including security improvements), and our world class support!”

    Is it possible?

    Hi @eleven2web ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

It seems you have a paid version of WPForms, which could explain why you’re seeing the license expiration notification in your WordPress dashboard.

I completely understand that you aren’t looking to renew your license at this time, and I can see how that persistent notification would be distracting if you don’t intend to upgrade.

We do not have a built-in setting to dismiss that specific admin dashboard notice. It is designed to remain visible as a safety precaution, ensuring you are always aware that the plugin is not receiving critical security patches or updates.

If your license expires, you will lose access to support and to plugin updates with new features and bug fixes. You can learn more about that in our guide here.

However, if you are not currently using paid features (such as conditional logic or paid addons), you can switch to WPForms Lite to get rid of the expiration notice. Since the Lite version is free, it will never show a license notice.

Here is how you can do that:

Deactivate and delete the paid version of WPForms from your Plugins page (don’t worry, your forms and entries are saved in your database).
Go to Plugins » Add New.
Search for “WPForms” and install/activate the Lite version.

Important Note: Before doing this, please ensure your current forms are not relying on any paid features. Switching to Lite will disable those specific fields or settings.

I hope this helps! Please let me know if you have any other questions.

It’s annoying to see it permanently. I don’t want tο update at the moment, maybe in the future
Why shouldn’t the user have the option to disable it at their own risk?
Is it difficult for the company to add this feature or does it really not want to?

Question to the community: is there a way or code that disables the message?
    Thanks

    Hi @eleven2web

Thank you for sticking with us. I understand that you’d like to hide the Admin Notice in the premium version of WPForms. However, as noted in the WordPress.org forum guidelines, we aren’t able to assist with premium plugins in this forum. Commercial plugins and themes are not sold on WordPress.org, so the quickest way for our team to help is to drop us a line on our contact page.

This not only helps ensure you receive accurate, in-depth support, but it also aids our developers in maintaining and enhancing WPForms.

Thanks for your understanding and for being a valued member of our community! If you have any other questions regarding free WordPress.org plugins or themes, feel free to ask.
