help with usage pls

Hello,
Wondering if there is a shortcode equivalent to the Documents widget please?

Also, is there a way to show the category hierarchy rather than the document names that populate them? ie. I am wanting to show a folder list in a widget on the left and document list in the main content. Of course, categories with no matching documents would not show.

Perhaps there is already a way to achieve this but it wasn’t obvious to me from my non-developer reading of the usage instructions.
