Actually, it is not part of the core theme. You have installed a 3rd party plugin to share on facebook so it will be better to ask plugin owner to get the perfect solution.

How does the add on have anything to do with me typing the url in a chat or on a post? The fb add ons I have are to show the fb feed and fb reviews on my word press site. There are no add ons that allow me to share to Facebook. I’m simply sharing the url.

To have a facility to share any data on Facebook directly from your website, you need to set OG Meta Tag. To set OG Meta Tag, please install the below-mentioned plugins on your website and follow their guidelines to get the desired output.

I can’t get it to change from this. See photo example. I simply share the url to the website nothing more and it displays this.
