Help with Custom CSS

    Hello.

    I need to add the “box-shadow” CSS property to some of the outer rows and/or the outer wrapper of the email template.

    What are the target elements (eg. table, div, etc.) and the classes I should use to define the shadow property in the Custom CSS area?

    And how to give those styles in the Custom CSS area? Just the CSS rules or along with the <style> tag?

    Step-by-step guidance would be the best. Thanks.

    The Custom CSS section in our plugin does not require the use of a style tag.

    Thanks for your reply. I inspected the item in the preview window, gave the element the box-shadow property, and it came in the preview. But when I added the same box-shadow property for the element class in the Custom CSS area, it didn’t work. Not even in the preview, even after saving/publishing the changes.

    Seems like the CSS declarations in the Custom CSS area are NOT being applied to the email template. What is the solution?

    Also, is there a way to add the CSS property inline to the element?

    Hi,

    A new version of the plugin has been released, we recommend updating it.

    However, it is important to note that the support for custom CSS depends on the email service being used. For instance, we have conducted a test and found that Box Shadow is not supported by Gmail.

    Thanks for your prompt work. The Custom CSS is being applied now, although not in all email services as you pointed out.
