Help! Can’t log in!

I originally had it set to interaction only if necessary and I have it being used on WordPress forms and BuddyPress registration. I’m using the Youzify plugin which works off of the BuddyPress functions. When I try and login I get a box with the triangle! symbol that says, Oops! Prove that you’re human. In Youzify, I have Google Recaptcha set up on the registration page only and they don’t have an option to use Turnstile. I have my keys saved in the Forminator plugin (latest update added an option to use it).

My message in your plugin isn’t set up to say, “Oops! Please verify that you are human” so Im not even sure it’s coming from your plug-in. I tried changing it to “always show”but there’s still nothing on the login form to check or solve. If you visit my homepage and click “login” in the header, the form will pop up. I only have an iPad, so I can’t use dev tools to check for errors.:( I’m still logged in outside of incognito, but if I get logged out I guessI’ll remove the plugin via ftp and try to get in.

I’ve never seen an error like this with recaptcha, so I honestly don’t know where it’s coming from. If I can figure out how to attach the screenshot I will.

Hi,

This plugin does not generate a “Oops! Please verify that you are human” error message, so I think it may be coming from a different plugin you are using.

The default message from our plugin is slightly different and would be: “Please verify that you are human.”

Do you still get this error if you disable/remove the Simple Cloudflare Turnstile plugin?

I too am having this problem on at least 2 sites I manage. Worked fine pre-holidays. Only way to fix and regain access to the /wp-admin is to disable the plugin via FTP then can regain access. All plugins up to date. The new Failsafe feature has no effect.

Update: 3 sites found so far with the issue. Whitelisting the IP in settings prevents the issue from blocking /wp-admin access.

Update: 11 sites in total (out of the 86 sites that we have it installed on) are no longer able to pass the Captcha with the plugin active.

Of those 11 sites, 10 of them have an identical duplicate copy of the site running on a separate subdomain that works perfectly. They are all identical clones and all software is the same. Running on the same server. All keys valid. No errors shown in the plugin’s settings area on either copy. This was not an issue in November.

Tagging @elliotvs just in case the “Resolved” status of this has resulted in a lack of notifications being sent out. If I should branch this off into a new thread let me know but it was originally posted in here since it was the most recent existing post that appeared related, at the time.

Hi @skunkworks

I would suggest checking in your Cloudflare account to see if:

– Your Turnstile keys are correct on the staging sites.

– You have added both the main domain, and staging domain to the allowed domains without the Turnstile settings.
