Hi,
you should reinstall wordpress
– create a backup
– download wordpress
– on your server delete all files except the wp-content folder, it’s contents, and your wp-config.php.
– Upload the latest clean version of wordpress files except the ones mentioned above.
( – if needed, remove the wp-config.php file, and run the wp install again.)
in your database, you should check that no malicious code was added. This might require a wp professional.
Hi gnoric
thanks for the advice.
1) Since i cant access the wordpress dashboard, can I backup by downloading the files via FTP to my local PC ?
Will try this first and see if it still persists.
Thanks
Thanks gnoric.
Backing up now.
Keeping my fingers crossed now. Hope it works…
Thanks again

I have done my install of wordpress as advised.
Now i encounter a “Internal Server Error” !!!
Can anyone help please. Thanks
Can you check you php error logs? These should be available when logging in to your host. Copy them here, so we can debug the 500 error for you.
Hi gnoric
Thanks for your advise.
I called the hosting and they have helped me resolved the 500 error.
Google has also reviewed the website and all is ok.
Thanks again for your fast response
