Hello.
Thanks for using ScrapeAZon.
Try verifying that your credentials (associate ID and AWS) were created in the same Amazon site as the reviews you are attempting to retrieve. For example, if you attempt to retrieve reviews from the US site, your associate ID must have been created by using the US associate portal. Same for UK, etc.
One way to test all your Amazon credentials is to use Amazon’s scratchpad tool here:
https://webservices.amazon.com/scratchpad/index.html
On the scratchpad:
* Select ItemLookup in the sidebar
* Select the appropriate Amazon Marketplace
* Plug in your associate tag, your access key, and your secret key.
* Plug in the ASIN for the item you want to lookup
* Select “Reviews” for the Response Group
* Click “Run Request”
If you retrieve results, then your credentials are valid for the locale you are using. If you receive the 400 Bad Request error, you’ll need to examine your credentials and locale settings.
Hope this helps.
James
Thank you very much @jhanbackjr seems to be an error with the access key as I am getting this error message:
Error! AWS.InvalidAccount
HTTP Status 400: Bad Request
Your AccessKey Id is not registered for Product Advertising API. Please use the AccessKey Id obtained after registering at https://affiliate-program.amazon.com/assoc_credentials/home.
I really appreciate your help
