H1 title hidden

    When the plugin is active the H1 title doesn’t display. This happens on pages created in Elementor and also blog posts which are created using the Classic editor. I have 12 websites using the same set up and gradually each one is losing the title on the pages. I don’t know what’s changed because it wasn’t like that before.

    I’ve read other posts on the subject and have checked:

    1. Page title is not set as hidden in the page settings
    2. Page title was set as hidden in the page header created in UAE in Elementor, but even after enabling it still doesn’t display. This shouldn’t matter because the page title isn’t in the header
    3. Cache has been cleared sitewide
    4. Elementor cache has been cleared

    The only solution seems to be to add CSS to force the display of the title, which is not ideal

    WP version: 6.9.1

    UAE Version 2.8.4

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Could you please check if you are currently using the default layout from Astra? In some cases, if the ‘Post Title’ is disabled within the Customizer, it can prevent the title from rendering on single posts, this is especially common when content is built using the Classic Editor.

    Sorry, I didn’t receive a notification of your first reply.

    Checking the customizer I can’t see anywhere that the page title is disabled. I checked Post Types and each one has the Page Title Area active.

    All the pages use the Default Template so presumably this is the default layout from Astra as I didn’t edit any templates.

    For the individual pages, under Astra settings “disable title” isn’t ticked. Everything else is Customizer default.
