    Hi there,

    Thanks for reaching out!

I tried to reproduce this on my site, but it’s working as expected. Here are the steps I took and the result:

    1. I created a Slide In form.
    2. By default, the form title was set to H2. I changed it to paragraph.
    3. I checked on my website and the HTML shows it as paragraph: https://d.pr/i/824n6n

It’s likely that something else on your website is overriding the MailPoet code.

To determine what’s causing the issue, I recommend doing a conflict test, which consists of deactivating all plugins on your site except MailPoet, and switching to a default theme like Storefront. At this point, the issue should be sorted.

To figure out which plugin is causing the problem, continue to the next step – reactivate your other plugins one by one, checking if the issue will be back after each until you find the one causing conflict.

If you want you can clone your site to a staging environment and perform these tests without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.
