I love this – though integrating the logic with some existing css-based logic on the site was challenging (my brain, not the plugin!)

Would have been easier if there were an ‘else’ option in it, but I’ve no idea how hard that would be to develop – could be nice though 🙂

That said, really useful as it is, and I have no doubt I shall use it on more sites in the future. Many Thanks!

    Hi there,

I’m intrigued by your suggestion. Can you please elaborate on what you mean? Is that to say, you set up shortcodes to show something at a particular time (for example, contact details during business hours) but instead of having to create the shortcodes for the opposite condition (outside of business hours and all weekend), you can define an “else” option which says what to show when the content is not being displayed per your conditions? If so, that’s quite a good idea and I’ll add it to the roadmap.

    Yes, that’s exactly it 🙂

I am using it on a (5 day a week) food delivery site with PayPal ordering, where my client found she was receiving online orders very late in the evening and having problems fitting them in to her delivery schedule. With your plugin, I can make the PayPal option disappear ‘out of hours’ – for various reasons, it would have been a lot easier if the logic could have just gone something like:

    [during defined hours/days]
    or
    [else]
Online ordering is available until 8:30pm
    [end]
Please call xxxxxx to place your order.

    Best, Jon

For anyone reading this later, obviously those are not the real shortcodes!!!!

FYI, I created an issue for this in GitHub for it to be included in a future release.

@wwolf FYI, I built this feature in for you. You can use it now if you download the master version from GitHub, or you can wait for 2.5. 🙂
