• First of all, thank you very much for this plugin. It allows users to upload PDF documents and share them among members. This is exactly what we were looking to include in our association.

    The only problem is that when we activate the plugin, it causes interference with our template which is coupled with Grimlock for BuddyPress.

    I’ve been trying to troubleshoot this, but unfortunately I can’t figure out why it adds an extra header “#custom_header”. This only happens when you’re logged out.

    Perhaps you can help me solve this little problem?

    Thanks

    Ok, it’s me again 😉 I applied a temporary solution while waiting for something better.

    .buddypress #custom_header {
    display: none !important;
    }

    With your plugin activated :

    ___

    And after the CSS solution, that’s how it should be :

    Is Grimlock a paid theme from Themosaurus? If so, I can’t help you troubleshoot it. Have you asked the theme provider if they have any idea why BP Docs would be adding a section on a page that doesn’t include BP Docs? The only thing I can think of is if the the theme uses a very generic hook name, or reuses a core WP hook name.

    Hi David! Merci pour ta réponse…

    So, Grimlock for BuddyPress is not a paid theme, but a “free” plugin that allows us to harmonize our “Sinclair Theme” theme with BuddyPress.

    I also think the plugin is using a very generic hook name or reusing a core WP hook name. But unfortunately there is no way to contact the developers, it seems to me that Grimlock for BuddyPress is no longer distributed, because the link that went to the page is dead.

    If you’d like, I could send you the source code for this extension so you can take a look? If only out of curiosity! 😉
