google_api_connection_fail

Hi! 
I am currently update my website and just went live on the new version. 
I had Site Kit on the old version of the website previously, and everything was running fine, but now since the new verison with a new theme, Site Kit stopped working even after trying to reinstall. 

I have already done a reset via Tools, but still no luck. 
It now says google_api_connection_fail. 

Unfortunately I am not knowledgeable enough to fix this. Could you kindly please let me know how to fix it and how I can solve this I would like to have Site Kit again, as it was very handy previously to have some insight thank you very much. 
I have a copy of the Site Health if someone from Google needs to see it.
