Google Search Console temporarily disabled for this app

I am running Rank Math 1.0.28.1 due to some conflicts that I have yet to resolve with the latest version of RM in conjunction with the Classic Editor plugin.

When I try to authorize Google Search console, I get the following response from Google:

Sign in with Google temporarily disabled for this app
This app has not been verified yet by Google in order to use Google Sign In.

I read this thread, but I am already doing it through the search console section of settings. Is this an issue with 1.0.28 and do I need to update in order to enable GSC integration, or is it something that is affecting all versions?
- PHP: 7.0.3
- WordPress: 5.1.4
- macOS Mojave 10.14.6, Chrome 79

Thank you for contacting the support.

Yes, we had some issues with the older app we were using.

Also, the other issue which you are facing with the scripts we have in the plugin, conflicting with the older versions of WP, we have fixed them internally.

We will be releasing an update soon and if that fixes the issue, you can upgrade to the latest version and then authorize the plugin with GSC.

I’m still getting the same error message on a new site where I just installed Rank Math so I’m definitely using the latest version

We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience that might have been caused.

We had to get the get the app approved by Google again since we made a couple of changes.

We have released a quick update, 1.0.41.1

Updating to the latest version should fix the issue.

To avoid having to update the plugin in the future manually, you can take advantage of the auto-update feature of Rank Math:
