Recently took over website for SEO. Yoast was already installed with Google and Bing Verification files configured. Tried to link them to my Google Search Console & Bing Places Account by copying and pasting NEW verification files…Yoast won’t accept it. Best resolve?

In order to verify with Google and Bing using the plugin you would need to use the option to use the metatag, not a verification file. We have instructions on how to do this at the following links:
