    Hello, i have a question about google analytics 4.
    If i upgrade my UA using the procedure to create a property GA4 linked to my old UA, i loose my actualy UA and all event/conversions configured (clic to chat event too)?

    If i upgrade, your plug in immediatilty send event on GA4 or still work with UA until i click the flag GA4 on the plug in configuration?

    Hi,

    As per my knowledge if you upgraded to ga4 the events may not lost.

    Click to Chat – GA4 checkbox is to create a new event.

    In GA other versions, category, action, label is there.

    Category: Click to Chat for WhatsApp
    Action: chat: <number>
    Label: <post_title>, <URL>

    GA4 we can add custom parameters, to take advantage of new parameters, we created a new event. ( if GA4 is checked, new event will creates – i.e. with new event name is: click to chat and parameters are url, number, title )

    Event: Click to Chat
    number: (the number assigned to the icon/button)
    title: (current page title)
    URL: (current page url)
