Unfortunately – yes. If i check the “Enable this shipping globally” under GLS Delivery to Address, the method shows up just once. But if I enable it and than ad the same method under Shipping zone settings it shows up twice. I have several zones so I need to be able to set delivery methods per zone.
Hello MoBlaise, the plugin is designed to work in two ways: activation of shipping methods (to an address, parcel locker, or parcel shop) via shipping zones or enabling them globally. If enabled globally through the plugin settings, the selected method and its settings will be shown for all countries selected further down in the plugin settings — this is intended for clients who ship packages only within one country. The second option is using shipping zones, where different prices and restrictions can be set for each zone. So, when setting up shipping methods, it is necessary to choose either a method within the plugin or configure it through the shipping zones.
@isuntesic 🐞 A bug found! When using GLS through shipping zones, where we set different prices per country, for some reason label generation doesn’t work for each country. In our case, it works for Croatia but not for Slovenia. See the screens:
This is the behavior of the GLS API: for export parcels, only the FDS and FSS services are available. You have probably set SM1 as the default service in the plugin.
@isuntesic Yes, when I deselect SM1 and SM2 options in the plugin settings, the label generation works for Slovenia. But what if we want to enable SM1 and SM2 options for Croatia while being able to generate labels for Slovenia? The plugin’s logic doesn’t allow that…
