Glossary is working fine on everything, but it doesn’t add links to image captions.

Yes it is a design choice to avoid HTML conflicts because image captions can be different based on the theme itself.
For this cases we suggest to use a PHP filter and the PRO version and use the [glossary] shortcode: https://docs.codeat.co/glossary/shortcodes/#parse-content-premium
