After the recent Genesis update the testimonials stopped working and is no longer visible under the Genesis menu. When I deactivated and then reactivated the plugin I got an error that the Genesis framework must be installed which it is and running a custom version of sample theme.. Has anyone else had problems with the testimonials?

I just updated to Genesis 3.0.0 and am having the same issue. The menu item is missing along with the widget option. Hoping there’s an update soon?

Yep, same problem here with Genesis 3.0.0

Genesis moved the theme settings to the Customizer (see Changelog). You may need to hover over the Genesis tab to see the menu item for the plugin. If that does not work for you, try installing Bill Erickson’s plugin which will restore the Genesis Theme settings back to the full page allowing the tab menu items to be displayed again – https://github.com/billerickson/Disable-Genesis-Customizer-Redirect.

This may not resolve the other issues of it not working or restoring the widget.

Sorry for the troubles. I’ve just released an update (1.5) This update removes the check on activation which prevented the plugin from being activated on Genesis 3.0
