GDPR issues

I wonder what settings I need to change…
(a) the GDPR-cookie-selection overlay displays fine but pops up every time a user visits our site even if “Accept” or so has been selected…
(b) I changed the text in the settings to a german version but it remains in English…
Not sure where to start. The settings seem fine…

Seems good – at least I saw the german version once.
…however, using a browser version without any cookies (deleted them all) – did not see a message yet…. Not sure … and there is no slimstat-cookie set after loading the page.
