    Hello,
I have a question about the upcoming new Privacy Law for the EU (Europe).
I need to know, if your free plugin sets any cookies or sends informations to a third party?
It would be really great, if you can give me a short advice.
    Thanks a lot, Markus

    Hi @markusfroendhoff,
The answer for your question is not a simple yes or no, so I will detail the exceptions. Visitor’s browser part are related to GDPR.

Smart Slider 3 does not store cookies.
    Exceptions – in visitor’s browser:

    • Pro version contains a feature called “Maintain slide session”, which stores a cookie on which slide the user left the slider and it will show that slide when the user comes again. Default of this setting is Off.

Smart Slider 3 does not send information to us or to third party.
    Exceptions – in visitor’s browser:

    • When you use Google Fonts, those fonts are loaded from Google servers

    Exceptions – in admin’s browser:

    • When you editing sliders/slides: Sample slides and sample sliders are loaded from our server and then stored on yours
