Gallery proofing workflow for clients

    I’m a photographer and I’d love to use the gallery as a proofing tool for clients. The idea is to let clients browse through the gallery and select or favorite the photos they want delivered.

    Is there a way to allow users to click on thumbnails or lightbox images to mark them, and then send that list back to me automatically? Even something like a shortlist of selected photo IDs emailed or exported would work. If this isn’t built in, is there an integration or recommended workflow to achieve proofing functionality?

    This would save me hours of back-and-forth with clients.

    Hi! Thanks so much for your message, and we love hearing how photographers are using the gallery in real workflows like proofing.

    We’re happy to share that proofing functionality is already in development. Right now, we’re testing password-protected galleries along with advanced sharing options (such as unique links with long random IDs for quick and secure client access).

    The upcoming proofing release will let clients:

    – Mark or favorite images directly in the gallery or lightbox

    – Send their selections back to you automatically (via email or export)

    – Save you time by avoiding all the manual back-and-forth when confirming final photo choices

    This feature is coming very soon as part of the next major update.
