Funtions.php error

    ever since I upgraded to WP 3.0 I can’t seem to update user profiles..

    I get the following error message when I click “update profile”.

    Catchable fatal error: Object of class __PHP_Incomplete_Class could not be converted to string in /home/jdavis/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1463

    This is my code on page /wp-includes/functions.php at Line 1463:
    $array[$k] = addslashes( $v );

    Can anyone help me?

    I am having exactly the same error problem. Applies to all use profiles I try to update and when all plugins are deactivated. It appears to be a core problem – I notice it goes back several years when you search for the topic on this forum.
