Hello, I’m using the Yoast Seo Plugin, in this plugin there is the function %%currentmonth%%, this function automates the change of months in my meta description, this could somehow cause me a google punishment, or disrupt my SEO ?

Hello,

The use of variables for your titles and meta descriptions shouldn’t cause any SEO issues as long as you use it in the proper context.

Using the %%currentmonth%% variable to your meta description won’t cause any issue in SEO perspective.

As mentioned already, using the provided template variable won’t cause any issue, nor Google will punish you.
