Hello Julian,
As you can see in the screenshot (https://snipboard.io/prCDSA.jpg), the color of the email container is set. As you can see in the next screenshot (https://snipboard.io/EdsT4R.jpg), only the container is colored. the rest of the (mail) page is white.
My question was if I can change the background of the ENTIRE page

Hello @paidan,
which email client are you using? From your screenshots I see, that the email has a background color, but the email content ends at the bottom. The email content does not automatically expand over the whole sreen size. That depends on the email client. You could use custom css to add more padding on top and bottom to expand the content.
