    When setting up the FTP backup, how does one direct the backup to end up on an external hard drive attached to my computer. Is this possible and if so, is there a YouTube tutorial explaining the exact steps. I don’t want the backup to end up on my Host server due to space considerations.

    My external hard drive is backed up on the cloud using a commercial backup system so I have that additional backup.

    Hi,

    UpdraftPlus can only send backups to cloud storage like Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, etc. It can also send backups using FTP. If you have a NAS/backup system that support FTP then you can send your backups directly to your storage.

    Alternatively, you can connect your backup to Dropbox, sync it to your PC then you can transfer your backups from PC to your external.
