I have been using ftp backup for more than 4 years, with no problem. It suddenly stopped working few days ago, since the update 5.0. I haven’s changes anything in plugin config nor in my ftp setup. I started getting logs with error: ERROR: No destination correctly defined for backup! Please correct job settings.
When I check my destination ( FTP) config and try to save and test settings I just get “error in cloud configuration”. FTP itself works fine. I can log into it with no problem from other destinations and the host server itself ( using sftp, ftp etc ) How can I check what’s causing the problem? Any ftp connection logs are available at the test level? I know they appear on main log but only after i pass save and test process.
I’ve been so much happy with this plugin so far.

    Hi @pctma,

We’re sorry to hear about the FTP issue after the update. If nothing changed on your end and you’re seeing the “error in cloud configuration” message, it might be worth re-authenticating the FTP connection in BackWPup settings.

Unfortunately, FTP connection logs are only available after a job runs, but if you’re unable to pass the “Save and Test” step, we’d be happy to take a closer look. Could you reach out to us directly with more details about your setup so we can investigate further?

Looking forward to helping you resolve this!

    Best,
    The BackWPup Team
