• Hi Fluent Snippet friends 🙂

I use FS on a bunch of sites – on one site it seems to be causing an issue. When FS is activated is appears to be preventing the dashboard display widgets for Burst Statistics and SolidWP Security Pro from working as they normally would. I can’t see any details on either. Both, Burst Statistics and SolidWP Security Pro, show as I would expect when I disable the FS plugin though – having run through all the other plugins on that site stack FS is the only one which produces this issue.

The site is running the latest version of WP Core, theme and all plugins and this issues is presenting on all browsers I have tried. I resaved the permalinks as this sometimes helps with quirk errors but that didn’t help this time. Server people say everything there is fine their firewall is not causing any of the issues? This is a new site and presenting these errors is not something I have had an issue / experiences of previously. The issue is not causing any visitor difficulties – it is all inside the WP dashboard that the issues can be seen. Can anyone suggest what the issue might be please?

    Thanks for reading Sadie

    Hello @smhsmh,

Thank you for sharing the detailed information. Regarding the issue you’re experiencing, it might be occurring due to a specific configuration. You can investigate it further by following the steps outlined below:

    1. Temporarily disable all snippets, then re-enable them one by one.
    2. Check for admin_enqueue_scripts hooks inside your snippets, make sure they target specific screens using get_current_screen() rather than running globally.
    3. Wrap outputs in proper hooks, not direct echoes.
    4. If all snippets are clean, test FluentSnippets on a clean site (with only Burst or SolidWP). If the issue persists, then please contact with the Burst or SolidWP support to get know more information about the issue.

If that’s the case, I’d suggest:

    • Enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG, reload the dashboard, and check /wp-content/debug.log for any FluentSnippets-related warnings. If found, please share these with us. So that we can take a deeper look into it.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

    Best regards!
    Ruman Ahmed.
