Frontend indicator for Block Visibility usage
-
Hi,
I’m using Block Visibility on many sites and would like to suggest a feature or ask if there’s already a way to accomplish this:
When I need to identify which blocks have Block Visibility rules applied, I currently have to either:
- Manually check each page/post in the editor
- Disable the plugin temporarily and compare the frontend to see what appears
Is there a way to see visual indicators on the frontend showing which blocks are controlled by Block Visibility? For example:
- A subtle border or badge on blocks with visibility rules (visible only to logged-in admins)
- A toolbar option to “highlight blocks with visibility rules”
- An admin bar menu showing visibility-controlled blocks on the current page
This would make it much easier to audit and manage visibility rules across the site.
Is this functionality already available, or would this be something to consider for a future update?
Thanks, Lisa
