Hi there @teolives,
To clarify are they unconfirmed or marked as inactive? If they are marked as inactive then that will be our new feature which you can disable. More details here: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/264-inactive-subscribers.
Unfortunately, we won’t be changing requiring double opt-in when using our sending service due to the high risk of spam.
Thanks!
Unconfirmed, as stated in the object.
As for the feature request, too bad!
It’s doing this in the paid version as well and we’re NOT using MailPoet to send any of our emails.
Hi there,
Can you please contact us on support(at)mailpoet.com, we’ll need to take a closer look and see what’s happening on the installs.
Thanks!
I have the same problem.
Our web is membership only.
But, since version 3.31, all the new members are registered as “unconfirmed”.
I understand the reasons, but when a new member is registered, no confirmation email is send to the subscriber, but the welcome newsletter is sent.
Well, i tried to add the activation link in the welcome newsletter:
[activation_link]Haz clic aquí para confirmar tu suscripción.[/activation_link]
but it doesn’t work.
So, the only mode to confirm is manually resending the confirmation email.
It would be great if the activation link works in the welcome newsletter.
Same here, all new users are registered as Unconfirmed, even though we have disabled double opt-in and will be sending through our own servers only to our WordPress users. Can you look into it at the earliest?
Hi All,
It is intentional ffor the WordPress users to be marked as unconfirmed to ensure that you don’t end up sending to spam/fake users.
@ea4dqx We’ll make an internal note about the activation link shortcode feature request for newsletters.
@kashmiri Please email support at support(at)mailpoet.com.
Thanks!
