    Hey guys,

I’m testing FluentBoard and just wanted to double check and confirm that this is the case.

I currently have 1 admin role and 3 editors.

While the admin has full access, I can’t add the editors to the board, or to the cards, as this requires the pro version.

So basically, all the website users must be administrators in order to use the free version of FluentBoard. I can assign other administrators in the free version, but I cannot assign editors, contributors, authors etc.

Can you please confirm this is correct?

    Cheers, Jo

    Hello @joe-bloggs,

Thanks so much for trying out FluentBoard and for sharing your feedback.

You’re right in the free version, only users with the Administrator role can create, manage, and be assigned to boards and cards.

If you want to assign other roles like Editors, Authors, or Contributors to boards or cards, you’ll need to upgrade to the Pro version, which offers more advanced role management and collaboration options.

We appreciate your interest and hope this clears up any questions about the current access features in the free version.

    Thank you

    Thanks Sayed,

If I can just give you a little feedback, I’m not really sure this is the smartest way to go about it.

For the sake of website security, you probably want to minimise the admin roles. Instead, your free version basically encourages it.

While I really appreciate that you’re giving out a free version of the plugin, you’re making it basically unusable. I can only test it on the staging site with everybody being an admin, but I don’t really really want to put this on the live site, and make everyone an admin.

Instead, maybe just make your free version limited to 10 users or something on those lines. That would probably make a bit more sense.
