Form Editing not working

    Updated to wordpress 5.6 2 days ago, and using latest ninja forms version but the form editing option is not working.

    I want to create a new form, and after placing the required fields when i use settings option to rename field and place select option, nothing happens. After clicking the settings icon, the field just turns green and no customization options appear.

    Hi,
    Same thing here. With WordPress 5.6 and Ninja Version 3.4.33.
    Not possible to modify any field.
    No Actions, No Advanced options.

    fixed the issue by installing “jQuery Migrate” plugin by the wordpress team.

    Some changes made to the core wordpress in 5.5 & 5.6 is breaking some parts of the plugins and themes. Something to do with jQuery. So the wordpress team launched a plugin with disable those changes for sometime until theme and plugin devs update their code to support the changes made.

    Forgot to mention, after installing the jQuery plugin, go to Dashboard > Tools > jQuery Pluggin > and select the legacy jQuery Option to fix things. just installing the plugin wont work.

    Thank you @randomdroid but this is only a temporary solution: the Ninja contact form plugin has to be updated in order to work with most recent (and the next) updates of WP core 🙂

    I have the same problem, unable to edit forms

    Anyone know when Ninja Forms are going to address this problem and release an update?

    After reading this thread, I staged the site before updating WP 5.6 and Ninja Forms Version 3.4.33.
    I do not see the errors as described.

    > I am thinking this could this a server or caching issue? The staged site has no caching. It’s on a managed host using Ngix.

    @flexer this issue was caused by elementor plugin, on wp5.6 with ninjaforms installed.

    this has been fixed by the elementor team.

    Had the same issue when updating core to 5.7.2, it broke ninjaforms.

    This fixed it for me 🙂
