Forcing 16:9 aspect ratio for video shortcodes

    The video container in Tutor LMS lessons is indeed enforced to a 16:9 aspect ratio to ensure consistent full-page video display across different content types. This implementation is intentional for maintaining a uniform learning experience.

    However, if users wish to bypass this behavior, such as in the case of FV Player with playlist boxes, they can embed the player shortcode directly inside the lesson content area (using the editor) rather than using the designated video field. This method does not enforce the tutor-ratio classes and should allow your player to render with its intended layout and dimensions.

    We appreciate your feedback and will convey your message to the dev teams to consider in future updates. In the meantime, using the editor content field is the most reliable workaround.
