    Hey all,

I have a plugin that automatically updates WordPress. It just updated it to version 5.4, but now Wordfence is showing a bunch of 801 modified files. Should I run the repair or is there some way to ignore all of these because WordPress itself has been updated?

    Thanks!

    Hey @asheroto,

If you just updated WordPress, it’s likely just fine to ignore these. Wordfence will report the modified files, but it’s expected in case of an update.

    Thanks!

Is there a way to tell it to ignore, or should I just ignore ignoring? lol.

    Hey @asheroto,

It’s just fine to ignore the notices after the update as it won’t report them again until there are other updates :).

    Thanks,
