Fix background image

    Hy there
    I can’t figure out how I get this done.

    I want my background image fixed, so it’s not repeating while scrolling. It should stay fixed. And It should stretch to the devices display.

    When I set the background image to cover it stretches it over the whole site and I don’t want that. I want that the content is scrolling over the background.

    Hi @huronsen,

    How did you create the page which has the background image? Did you use a page builder plugin? If you did, what plugin? Elementor, Beaver Builder, Brizy, or what?

    You might also want to refer to the Help/Support/Documents section of the respective page builder plugin you use to create the page.

    Hy, yes I use elementor but only for the page, I set the background image in astra. Actually it’s a bit funny, now 2 days later it’s suddenly fix, without changing anything.
    But what I noticed is, that the image does not display accurately on an iPad, it’s scaled very large – do you know this issue?

    Hi @huronsen,

    Would you please try to configure the Background Size to Cover, as seen in this screenshot? It usually does the trick.
    
    And also, since Astra theme v2.4.0, you will find a responsive option besides the Background option, you might want to try that feature. Please refer to this doc for more on that.
