    Hello,

I’ve identified a critical issue in the latest Rank Math version (1.0.259).
After updating to this version, Rank Math modifies the main WP_Query in a way that causes a conflict with the Filter Everything PRO plugin.

    Symptoms

In Filter Everything PRO settings, the “Posts list (WP_Query)” dropdown starts showing two different WP_Query sources instead of one.

As a result, all filtering stops working across all post types.

Rolling back Rank Math to the previous version immediately resolves the issue.

    Technical Findings

Rank Math 1.0.259 is injecting callbacks into pre_get_posts and/or parse_query earlier than before, or re-initializing the main query under certain conditions.

This results in duplicate main queries, which breaks plugins relying on a stable WP_Query instance (such as Filter Everything PRO).

The issue cannot be disabled by turning off modules; it is coming from the core frontend query hooks in this version.

    Conclusion

This is a regression introduced in version 1.0.259.
Downgrading to the previous Rank Math release restores normal site behavior.

Please investigate the changes made to Rank Math’s query-related hooks in this update.
