Hi @onemist8k,
Thanks for reaching out!
I checked with the team, and I can confirm that there are 4,490 files and 518 folders in WPForms Lite.
When you have a chance, could you please provide more details or logs of the activities that your host is seeing? You can share them using a link to a cloud service like WeTransfer or Google Drive. This information will help us assist you in case there is an issue with WPForms Lite.
Thanks!
The ISP mentioned the activity as a response to a ticket I submitted. I don’t think I have access to the same log files he does.
Since I submitted this ticket to you, I downloaded a fresh copy of WP-Forms from your site and ran a DIFF across the entire directory between the fresh download and my files. Everything matched up, there weren’t any differences. I think this proves that WP-Forms hasn’t been compromised on my site. The ISP support tech may have seen the activity from upgrading the plug-in. I suspect, though cannot prove, that this release contains A LOT more files than the previous release.
Thank you for your reply and checking this out.
Hi @onemist8k,
Thanks for all the details!
I’m glad to see from your feedback that WPForms was not compromised on your site.
Regarding this point:
I suspect, though cannot prove, that this release contains A LOT more files than the previous release.
Actually, the difference is small. Let me share details about the current and previous WPForms Lite versions:
- WPForms Lite 1.9.8.4: 518 folders, and 4490 files (screenshot)
- WPForms Lite 1.9.8.2: 516 folders, and 4480 files (screenshot)
- WPForms Lite 1.9.7.3: 514 folders, and 4463 files (screenshot)
If you have any questions or need further assistance with WPForms Lite, please let me know.
Thanks!
Hi @onemist8k,
We haven’t heard back from you in a few days, so I’m going to go ahead and close this thread for now. But if you’d like us to assist further, please feel welcome to continue the conversation.
