Hi. I have the same issue. I resaved all settings and cleared all caches (2 days ago after updating your plugin). Typically i recieved 10-15 messages a day. But for the last 2 days i’ve recieved only three. I tested the feedback by my self and it works. But i don’t recieve feedback from users. It’s weird. And didn’t have it with 2.x version. AJAX setting is off.

    Hi guys,

version 3 has pretty good error handling, so it’s important to let me know what message you get after trying to submit feedback. In @dominic2020 case, the token doesn’t get saved to database but we haven’t yet been able to figure out what’s the reason. We are, however, in touch and investigating.

@badarmor in your case it could be invalid nonce as the error is not consistent. You will get invalid nonce error if you have page cache expiry set to more than 24 hours. In this case the plugin will reject feedback and votes after 24 hours of last cache release until the cache is cleared again. So, check you cache settings and make sure cache is cleared at least every 24 hours. Also check the error log and let me know if you see anything related to the plugin.

    Regards,

Hi, Blaz. Thank you for reply.
    Today feedback gets OK.
By the way it was wierd for two days. As you said I got ‘wrong nonce’ message on several devices. For sure many visitors of my site have got it as well.

I just want to understand how it can happen.

I have such filter for nonce in my functions.php
    add_filter( ‘nonce_life’, function () { return 1 * DAY_IN_SECONDS; } );

And in the W3TC in page cache section ‘gabage collction interval’ set to 1800 seconds

As i understand in worst case only for 30 minutes a day nonce can be wrong. Or may i missed something important?

    Hi sir Blaz,

I already mailed you the database if there’s token saved it seems there is but still “Invalid Token” shown upon conducting test.. See your mail for the further details, What should further action I should do for this problem, Thank you! 🙂

@badarmor, regarding the nonce, no extra function should be required. But you do need to ensure that page cache is emptied every 24 hours. I’m not so familiar with W3 cache plugin, so it’s probably best to ask on their support forum how to ensure that.

@dominic2020, we fixed via email 🙂

    Hello Blaz K.,
Our site is experiencing the same “Invalid Token” error message upon submission of a comment after giving a low rating. It sounds like you were able to resolve the issue for dominic2020 and will be releasing a new version to address it. If this is correct, would you be able to give an update as to when the new version will be released?

    Thank you for your help.
    Barney

I’m also having this issue of feedback not submitting but not receiving any error. The feedback appears to submit just fine on our site, but it doesn’t appear in WordPress under the Rate My Post stats or within the post it was submitted on.
