@niwin thank you for the feature suggestion. I wonder what happens when you have many many posts? Say more than 1,000 posts? Or, do you only enable it for certain post types? Which ones?
There is a setting for how many (latest) to display:

@niwin noted. How is it useful to have, for example, 20 of the latest (created) posts/pages/CPTs displayed/linked in the admin bar?
When administrating individual pages and cpt:s, I only need to go the the overview page when I need to edit a page/cpt beyond the X latest limit (for pages this is almost never, for cpt more common, but still seldom. I just hover over Pages or the CPT title in the left admin menu, and choose the single one I need in the drop down view. It’s a shortcut.

Great. It’s one of those little details that, once you get use to them, makes the workflow in wp admin a little bit easier every time you use it. I can’t really understand why this isn’t a standard built in thing…
