    I run a social blogging platform with user generated content and any logged in member can publish posts from site frontend, the problem now is I don’t want to send push notifications for all post from all registered members, Imagine having 50,000 members. I only want notifications to be sent for post published by users with the (author) role

    I am working on this request, I am testing the changes. New version of plugin will be released by this week after testing .

    Option will look like below under POST customize settings (for your both requirements regarding followers and user role notifications). Upcoming version will also have notification for followers as well as below updates

    1. Notification only for Followers for the selected post type
    2. Notification based on selected user role for the selected post type

    I am testing the new changes currently, I will update you once new version of PNFPB plugin is released
