Failed processing data replace during restore

While restoring a duplicator backup from a previous host, I’m getting this error:

failed processing data replacement: Chunk error, message: Data too long for column ‘referrer’ at row 1[/home/esdomains/public_html/dup-installer/classes/class.engine.php|391],
wait 5 seconds and retry.
second attempt

This happens on Step 3 (Update Data)

This only happens on DAF, not ZIP archives

Why is this happening and how can I get it fixed?

Yes, sure.

Please get the installer log as instructed in this post: – https://duplicator.com/knowledge-base/how-do-i-read-the-installer-log/

You will find the error failed processing data replacement: Chunk error, message: Data too long for column ….

When you find the error, you will need to figure out which database query that causes the problem.

Read the database query carefully and recognize the database table and column where the issue happens.

After that, you can fix the issue as follows:

Alternatively, you can change the column type during the installation as follows:
- Run the installation
- Proceed until step 2
- Open your destination website database using PHPMyadmin
- Change the problematic column type to LONGTEXT in problematic table
  If you can’t change the column type to LONGTEXT, please try increasing the column length
- Continue the installation
If you can’t recognize the problematic table and column, please contact us at https://duplicator.com/contact/?form=1, and I will guide you to get this information.
