Since today in the morning the facebook sharing button is not visible at my website page. I have tried all the basic troubleshooting by going through the cache clearing, change of wordpress theme, jetpack plugin update, checking the sharing setting of Jetpack etc. But it is not working ! I am using a beautiful Pro them which is also updated.

Hi Sachin, Sebastian here. I hope you are doing well!

I understand the Facebook sharing button has suddenly disappeared from your posts on astrologicalmusings.com, and I can see that the other sharing buttons (Tweet, WhatsApp, Print, Email) are still showing up just fine. That must be frustrating, especially when you have already tried several troubleshooting steps.

I checked your site and can confirm the Jetpack connection is healthy, so the issue is likely with the sharing button configuration itself. Here are some steps I would recommend:

    1. Re-check the Sharing Button configuration: Go to your WP Admin, then navigate to Settings > Sharing (or go to Jetpack > Settings > Sharing and click “Configure your sharing buttons”). Under “Sharing Buttons,” click Edit sharing buttons and make sure the Facebook button is present in the “Enabled Services” row (not just “Available Services”). Sometimes updates or theme changes can reset this configuration. If it is missing, drag it from “Available Services” into “Enabled Services” and click Save Changes.
    2. Try removing and re-adding the Facebook button: If the Facebook button is already in the “Enabled Services” area, try removing it from there, saving, then adding it back and saving again. This can help refresh the configuration.
    3. Test for plugin conflicts: Since you mentioned trying a theme change, I would also suggest temporarily deactivating all plugins except Jetpack to see if the Facebook sharing button reappears. If it does, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify which one may be causing the conflict.
    4. Test for theme conflicts: Even though you mentioned switching themes, I would recommend specifically testing with a default WordPress theme like Twenty Twenty-Five or Twenty Twenty-Four. Some themes, including Beautiful Pro, may include their own social sharing features or custom CSS that could hide or interfere with Jetpack’s Facebook button. If the button reappears with a default theme, the conflict is theme-related, and you may need to reach out to your theme developer for assistance.

You can follow the full steps for both plugin and theme conflict testing here: https://jetpack.com/support/troubleshooting-plugin-and-theme-conflicts/
    5. Check your browser console: Open the page in your browser, right-click, select “Inspect” or “Developer Tools,” and look at the Console tab for any JavaScript errors that might be preventing the Facebook button from rendering.

For reference, here is the full documentation on configuring Jetpack sharing buttons: https://jetpack.com/support/sharing/

Is this happening in all your page and posts?

Looking forward to hearing how it goes!

Hello Chatoxz, Thanks for your kind revert. I have tried the methods given by you. The problem is resolve now but in a different manner. I changed the Button Style from ‘Official Buttons’ to ‘Icon+Text’ in the sharing settings to get the result. Now the Facebook sharing option is visible at my blog.

    Hi @sachinmalhotra,

I’m glad you were able to solve it on your end. The most important thing is that it all worked out in the end.

Wishing you all the best with your site! 😊
