So posting a simple link in a Facebook post just doesn’t work anymore. It doesn’t get much reach. The new trick is to post an image, and then tease that the link is in the comment. Is this possible with Jetpack social?

    Exemple:
    Post contains:
Article featured image and then the text: “Title of the post. Link in comments.”

    Then in comment section:
    Title of the post. URL.

  • Hi @raskidaski, I understand you’re looking to maximize Facebook post reach for your organization by posting an image, teasing the link in the caption, and then sharing the actual link in the comments. That’s a smart strategy given recent changes to Facebook’s algorithm and how it treats direct links.

Currently, Jetpack Social supports sharing your post’s featured image and custom text, but it doesn’t allow automated link placement in the comments section of a Facebook post. You’ll need to manually add your link in the comments after the post publishes.

I hope this helps; please let us know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Hey @raskidaski,

Do you have updates about that, do you still need help? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!
