Facebook Image – og:image. Can’t paste url any more

    Hi.
    In the old versions, in the field for facebook image we could paste url image (internal or external image) in order to use the image as an og:image
    Now (after 14.0.4 version i think) we can only use the image from the same domain (=button upload image)
    Is there any reason why is this happening?

    Hello,

    This was removed since v9.0 of the Yoast SEO plugin. The reason for this was because it was difficult to get measurements (height & width) for external images. This was also changed to improve performance achievements. You can learn more about it here.
