I uninstalled the latest version and install 1.15.6.7 and the problem goes away.
That means there is a bug for the latest version for Export function to work properly. Can someone verify this, because I think this needs to be fix.

Last version has a fix for a problem with UTF-8 characters being exported.
But it should not affect it.
Can someone tell us if has the same problem? I have tried in 3 different sites and all works properly.
I’m having the same problem since updating. On a mac, and the entire file will not download. File error says “xx kb of 279kb – the operation couldn’t be completed…” Tried several times – got different, random xx amounts.

This is not a problem from the plugin.
Your server is stopping the execution before it ends.
I have the same problem. Just installed and tried with both Chrome and Firefox.
This is not a problem from the browser. This is a problem for a long execution that your server (PHP or maybe some proxy like nginx) are stopping before it conclude.
Make a little export (choosing only some role) and it will work or talk with your hosting to make limits bigger.
hola javier, i have the same issue – “export is not finshed” and if i click to reload the export it just gives empty file. the filesize can not be the issue, it is 8kb… i have just 10 users and wanted to have a reference file for the import. thanks for help! br markus
@mmatousek – I agree. The file I was trying to export was very small.
I have tried in different sites and always it works.
Can you enable WP_DEBUG? Maybe some error is raising.
