Excellent support and real developer follow-through

We encountered an issue where Wistia player controls (playbar and fullscreen) were being disabled when videos were embedded through EmbedPress across our entire learning platform.

This was a serious issue for us because we run a large WordPress LMS environment with over 1,000 embedded videos. After investigating with Wistia support, it became clear the player parameters were being set incorrectly during initialization.

The EmbedPress support team responded quickly, reviewed the environment, and escalated the issue to their developers. They identified the problem as a bug that was incorrectly applying Wistia player parameters during embed rendering. Their team deployed a development fix directly to our site and confirmed the controls were restored across all videos.

What impressed me most was that they didn’t just offer a workaround, they actually fixed the root issue and confirmed the patch will be included in an upcoming release.
