For the past month or so Yoast Analytics is not tracking outbound clicks and downloads, or any other events. I have that check box selected to track them. I deleted and reinstalled the plugin with no improvement. It did work for a while, but not anymore.

Does anyone know of a fix or a workaround?

I’m having this issue as well.

I’ve checked Track outbound click and downloads in the plugin settings. But I’m not seeing any _onclick=__gaTracker('etc', 'etc'); in my source.

I’m also having this issue. I don’t see the event tracking code. I’ve tried deactivating and reactivating the plugin, but no luck.

Are your websites on https protocol or http?

In my case I found out that the Yoast plugin (now MonsterInsights) was only applying the tracking code to absolute URLs and not relatives one.

I’ve fixed this by switch to another Google Analytics plugin.
